The Chehov's heroes still live here and tell about the writer as if he is their good friend...
A poet is looking for the sunken city Cremny and writes hymns to it. And nearby, a fisherman's village is sinking...
Modern "Vanya Jukov" leaves home and comes to homeless children institutes. Museum employees keep values of the past but consider the children to be main value of life.

The movie was filmed from March, 27 to April, 4 and from May, 3 to May, 5, 2002
