Torzhok is an old city with the history of about thousand years. A road which connects both capitals - Moscow and Saint-Petersburg - passes through the city. Alexander Pushkin, Lev Tolstoy and many other famous and respected people traveled by this road.
You can tell about Torzhok describing its architecture monuments - monasteries, more than 30 churches and the museums.
But making a closer acquaintance you understand that the real value of Torzhok is the citizens and the gold of their hearts.
